Fallacy

She clenched her hands as if in prayer,

But they knew she loved no god.

The way she acted contradicted her inner being,

Could she continue to live this fallacy?

Her peers;

Her family;

But most of all: herself.

She realized she didn’t even know how to change.

A strange world full of foreign concepts nipped her fingertips.

Where would she begin her journey?

Did she even want to make a change?
